• What s the difference between “trim to frame” and “trim for mat”?
The trim style determines the final framing size of the cross and impacts the paper size.
Trim to Frame – the cross will fit perfectly into a standard photo frame. A 5×7 cross trimmed to fit into a frame will fit into a 5×7 photo frame. An 8×10 cross trimmed to fit into a frame will fit into an 8×10 photo frame.
Trim for Photo Mat – the paper is left slightly larger to make it easier to attach to the backside of a photo mat. The printed size of the cross will fit within the smaller opening of photo mat.
Note – photo mats do not come standard with a Name Crosses order but can be added on.
For crosses trimmed for a photo mat, you can expect:
• A 5×7 cross will attach to an 8×10 photo mat and will fit into an 8×10 frame.
• An 8×10 cross will attach to an 11×14 photo mat and will fit into an 11×14 frame.
• What is your free shipping policy?
Name Crosses is proud to offer free shipping on all orders to addresses within the United States. Crosses are sent via USPS First Class Package service with a tracking number. Shipping can take 5-10 days depending on your distance from our location in Dallas, Texas.
We also offer Priority Mail shipping upgrade. Crosses sent by Priority Mail arrive in 2-4 days after shipment.

Due to the custom nature of our products, designing the cross takes 2-4 days. We do our best to expedite urgent orders. Free shipping can take an additional 5-10 business days to arrive. • I need this right away, will you send me the digital file so I can print it myself?
For personalized crosses we do not send the digital files to be printed but there are other options to get the cross to you quickly. We offer Priority Mail shipping which includes decreasing the standard turn around time. Crosses shipped by Priority Mail arrive in 2-4 days after shipment.

• What type of paper is used for the Name Cross prints?
Each Name Cross is printed on acid neutral white 110lb coverstock. It’s a really thick, high quality paper that comes from a professional supplier who serves the print industry.
• What are my color choices for the paper and ink?
We pride ourselves in providing custom options to create the perfect gift for all special occasions. Although our standard crosses are printed in black ink on white paper, other options are available. Please contact us here to discuss customizing your order.
• I would like to send a Name Cross as a gift. Can you frame the cross and mail it directly to the recipient?
Name Cross prints are always available to be shipped as gift. We can make arrangements to have the print framed prior to shipping. To purchase a framed cross, visit the Gift Set page in our shop.
• What is your refund policy?
Here at Name Crosses we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service. We want you to be 100% in love with your order. If you are dissatisfied with your cross for any reason, please contact us here so we can make it right.
If you decide that a Name Cross is not for you, simply mail back the cross and we will provide a full refund. You can contact us here for more information.
• Help! The cross personalization has changed! Can I exchange the cross for a revised one?
No worries! We get it….things happen.
Whether there has been a change in date, change in location, or a misspelling we will gladly update the cross and mail a new one at no additional cost. Contact us here and let us know what needs to be updated.
• What do you do with the email address we provide to you when we sign up for your mailing list?
We promise to never sell your information and email address to any third party. You will receive emails from us regarding updates to our site, updates to your account or sales in our shop. • How do I download the digital files?
After checkout, you will be directed to a confirmation page with the download link embedded. The confirmation email will also contain the download link.
• Can I order a printed copy?
Yes! We offer printed and shipped items in our online shop.
• Why do I need to use Adobe Reader for the files?
The files use Adobe Reader to get the editable text fields to work correctly. If you are using a PDF viewer other than Adobe Reader, then the text in the files is not going to work correctly.
• May I sell the printed product or the file? May I put the designs on products for sale?
No, you may not sell the printed product or put the designs on products. We do not allow our files to be sold or uploaded to any other sites. Our designs are copyrighted designs and are provided to you for free for your personal enjoyment only. We have worked very hard on our designs. Please do not sell or steal our files. Should we find that our items are being sold or uploaded to any other site, the appropriate action will be taken.
• What type of paper do you recommend these be printed on?
We suggest using heavy weight acid-neutral cardstock
• Can I get the files printed somewhere?
AYes you can. We suggest going to FedEx office, Office Max, Staples or another office store that offers printing.
• Do you offer commercial licenses for your designs?
No, we do not offer commercial licenses for our designs or files.
